Heralds of 1965- 67 used both the Coil Spring & Diaphram Type Clutches. Here's how to identify -

This is the Slave Cylinder for the earlier Coil Spring Type Clutch which has the groove all the way round.

The later Slave Cylinder for the Diaphram Type Clutch has the groove only on one side.
